Cordova Cannery

Net Loft Cordova Colorway was inspired by a watercolor from local artist Karl Becker. The scene is an actual net loft in the old Alaska Packers cannery.  Recently, since this was painted, some of this historical building has collapsed. What once was an old clam cannery, then a salmon cannery, eventually became a storage place for large tote bags of gillnets. These old buildings hold many memories for local fishermen and their families.  

All the colors of this familiar scene are reflected in this colorway dyed by Three Irish Girls, exclusively for The Net Loft.
